Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM) is the Portuguese Regulatory Authority of the electronic communications and postal sector. It is also, temporarily, the Portuguese Space Authority and the coordinator of digital services in Portugal.

To protect the rights and interests of consumers, ANACOM is strongly committed to the availability of clear and transparent information. Informed consumers are protected consumers!

On ANACOM's Consumers' Website, you can find videos, podcasts, FAQs and interactive tools that you can use to obtain information and stay up to date on the communications sector, You can also learn about your rights and find out how to resolve any problems that might arise with operators.

DGC - Direção-Geral do Consumidor (General Consumer Directorate) works to contribute to the preparation, definition and implementation of consumer protection policy in Portugal with the aim of ensuring high levels of protection for consumers.
The DGC inform consumers about their rights, carrying out information campaigns, education and training programmes, and promoting access to consumer dispute resolution mechanisms.

Centro Europeu do Consumidor Portugal (European Consumer Centre Portugal) provides free information to consumers about their rights and assist them in resolving problems related to cross-border purchases of goods and services. The Centre is part of the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net), which is made up of 30 centres located across the 27 Member States of the European Union, Iceland, Norway and the United Kingdom.
